Hi Arrowhead families! I’m Amanda, your Advocacy & Legislation Chair. I’ll use this space to share opportunities to learn about and participate in advocacy at the local, district, and state levels.
📣 Enrollment & School Boundaries
Northshore is reviewing enrollment, school capacity, demographics, and boundaries, with potential changes taking effect in fall 2028.
Upcoming opportunity to learn more and provide input:

🗣️ Help Shape Arrowhead PTA’s Voice at Legislative Assembly
I’ll be attending WSPTA Legislative Assembly on October 16–17 as an Arrowhead PTA delegate, and I’d love to hear from our Arrowhead community before I go.
WSPTA has proposed eight legislative issues and two resolutions for delegates to consider. The five legislative issues ultimately selected as WSPTA’s top priorities will become the organization’s primary advocacy focus for the next two years. I’ve put together a short survey with links to the WSPTA Voters’ Guide so you can review the proposals and share your thoughts.
👉 Share your feedback in the Legislative Assembly survey
You don’t need to have an opinion on everything, and this is informal member feedback—not a vote by Arrowhead PTA.
Want to join me as a Legislative Assembly delegate? Arrowhead PTA can send up to four delegates, and we’re still looking for additional PTA members to attend and participate in the Legislative Assembly process. No prior advocacy experience is needed, and I’m happy to answer questions about what participation involves.
Interested? Reach out at legislation@ptaarrowhead.org.
Questions about advocacy or an issue you think our PTA should be paying attention to? I’d also love to hear from you!
