Cinderella

Imagine a pumpkin coach, Prince Charming, a glass slipper and a dream come true are woven together by the magic of a Fairy Godmother in this enchanting musical. When Cinderella’s stepsisters try to keep Cinderella from attending the ball, the Fairy Godmother enlists the help of the Mice and the Pumpkins and is able to transform Cinderella just in time for the big event. Also featured in the production are Cleo the Cat, Fido the Dog, the Lords and Ladies, the Town Criers, the King and the Beggars. Experience the unique twist the Missoula Children’s Theatre puts on this classic story.

Arrowhead Gym

Roles are open for ALL students K-6th grade. Approximately 50-60 students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Director. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-30 minutes after the audition. This is a group audition - no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts. Just come and be ready to have a good time! Cost: 1st child = $25 additional siblings = $15 payable to the Arrowhead PTA after your child is cast. Partial scholarships may be available. Rehearsals will be conducted every day that week from 3:35 to 8:00pm in the Arrowhead Gym. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role as well as both performances. There is a non-student day on Friday, January 27^th but rehearsals will be on schedule at 3:35pm as if school had been in session. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be available following auditions. The performance space this year is at Bastyr University Auditorium and performances will be on Saturday, Jan 28^th at 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm..

Be a Stage Parent!

The success of our play depends on lots of parental assistance! Please consider helping in one or more of the following areas:

• Supervise a 2 hour audition/ rehearsal shift (Mon – Fri, 3:30 to 5:30 or 6:00 to 8:00)
• Provide an easy dinner for our 2 MCT actors (Mon– Fri by 5:30 pm)
• Help with make-up and costumes on Saturday
• Supervise backstage during one of the performances
• Sell tickets on Saturday
• Help pack up the set and load the tour truck after the 7 pm performance on Saturday
