Coming to Arrowhead Elementary

This is an Arrowhead PTA sponsored event

When: Mondays starting October 10 – November 14, 2011 (6 weeks)

Time: 3:40 – 4:40pm

Location: Room 302

Eligibility: Ages K-3

Note, Boeing Afterschool Science (sponsored by Arrowhead Elementary and not the PTA) for grades 4-6 will be held on same days/times.

Cost: $60 – Write checks to ‘Arrowhead PTA’

What to Bring: Snack for your child to eat between 3:30-3:40

Unfortunately this class is completely full for Fall 2011.

The Pacific Science Center Science after school program provides six 1-hour lessons, built on Washington State Grade Level expectations and designed to enrich after school time with fun, innovative experiments.  The theme for this 6-week session is Design Time. Using pulleys, levers, gears and gravity to solve problems like: How slow can you make a marble fall? How far can your catapult fling an object? How buoyant is your boat? What's so great about gears?

IMPORTANT:  Remember to fill out a child enrichment permission slip if your child will be attending an afterschool enrichment class.  This form must be submitted to your child's teacher or the office prior to the beginning of the enrichment course.
